Information on Admission to N Classes in the 2024/25 School Year
A. Collection of Application Forms (No quota):

B. Distribution Period:
1. Date: Start from 4 September 2023
2. Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Saturday)
C. Submission of Application Forms:
1. Online application (For details, please refer to the online application instructions)
2. Submit the application form in person (together with the documents required).
a. Date: 4 September 2023 (Monday) to 15 December 2023 (Friday)

b. Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Saturday)
c. Documents required:
– Completed application form (please attach the applicant’s recent photo)
– The applicant is required to provide both the original and a photocopy of their birth certificate.
(If the applicant was not born in Hong Kong, they must provide their original birth certificate and proof of Hong Kong residency.)
– Supporting documents (hard copies) of “Admission Criteria” (if applicable)
– A self-addressed envelope (4 x 9 Inches; please write the applicant’s name and address clearly, stamped at HK$2.2)
d. Application fee: HK$40
(The application fee is non-refundable whether the application is successful.)
D. Interview Arrangements
1. The kindergarten will arrange interviews for all applicants.
2. Interviews will be held on 13 January 2024, and applicants will be notified with details by email or WhatsApp.
3. If parents do not receive an interview notification by January 5th, 2024, please call 2742 4925 for inquiries.
4. If applicants cannot attend the interview on time, please get in touch with 2742 4925.
E. Interview Method
1. Individual interviews will be arranged.
2. Parents must accompany their children to interviews for teacher observation through games and conversation.
3. Please arrive 10 minutes before the interview.
F. Admission Assessment Criteria
The kindergarten takes into consideration the following:
1. Interview performance
2. Applicants with sibling(s) currently studying in the kindergarten
3. Applicant’s father/mother is a staff member of the kindergarten
4. Applicant’s father/mother/elder sibling(s) are graduate(s) of the kindergarten
G. Announcement of Admission Results
The results of the N classes admission will be sent to parents by email or WhatsApp before 26 January 2024.
(Please inform the kindergarten if you change your address or contact number.)
H. Capacity for N classes
The kindergarten’s capacity for N classes is 48 students (approved by EDB), including AM and PM classes.
Capacity for AM: 24 students
Capacity for PM: 24 students
I. Lesson Time
AM class: 9:00 am -11:30 am
PM class: 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
J. School Fees (2023/24 School Year)
Installments: 11 months (September to July)
Fee: $4700 per month
K. Registration Arrangements
1. Successful applicants: Parents must complete the registration procedures for their child from 1st to 3rd February 2024.
2. Applicants on the waiting list: After the registration date, the kindergarten will notify parents of any vacancies by phone. Parents must complete the registration process for their child by the specified date set by the kindergarten.
3. The registration fee for 2024/25 is HK$970 (for half-day class), which will be returned in September 2024. Parents must notify the kindergarten in writing if they are changing schools after registration. The registration fee is non-refundable.
4. All data of successful candidates will be kept as part of the kindergarten’s records. For candidates not admitted after September 2024, all their data will be destroyed. All documents submitted will not be returned.

L. Admission Arrangements
The admission procedures will be conducted in May 2024. Parents will receive a notification by mail, and registered candidates must complete the admission process at the school according to the specified date and time.

H. Registration Arrangements
1. Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child from 4th to 6th January 2024 (“Centralised Registration Dates”) by submitting the original copy of the “2024/25 RC/AP” to the kindergarten and paying the registration fee.
2. Applicants on the waiting list: After the registration date, if there are any vacancies, the kindergarten will send a notification by phone. Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the kindergarten. Parents must submit the original “2024/25 RC/AP” copy to the kindergarten and pay the registration fee.
3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “2024/25 RC/AP” during registration, the kindergarten may be unable to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit applications for the Registration Certificate to the EDB within the specified period.
4. The registration fee for 2024/25 is HK$970(for half day class) / HK$1570(for whole day class), which will be returned in September 2024. Should parents decide to change school after registration, please notify the kindergarten in writing. The kindergarten will return the “2024/25 RC/AP” within two weeks, but the registration fee will not be refunded. Without the required “2024/25 RC/AP”, the kindergarten will not keep a place for the child.
5. Families in need will be prioritised for whole-day class applicants. (As the number of kindergarten places is limited, please understand that not all applicants fulfilling the priority consideration will be guaranteed a spot.)
6. All data of successful candidates will be kept as part of the kindergarten’s records. For candidates not admitted after September 2024, all their data will be destroyed. All documents submitted will not be returned.

I. Admission Arrangements
The Admission Procedures will be handled during May 2024. Parents will get the notice by post. Registered candidates shall complete the admission procedures at the school according to the date and time specified.
J. Application for the “2024/25 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission”
1. Under the kindergarten (KG) education scheme (hereafter referred to as “Scheme”), each child who can receive education in Hong Kong will only be issued a registration document, and all Scheme-KGs can only admit students holding a valid registration document.
2. Parents are required to apply for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter referred to as “RC”) to the EDB from September to November 2023. The “RC” will be open for applications in September 2023, and the EDB will announce and upload the details of the application onto the EDB’s website (https://www.edb.gov.hk/en/edu-system/preprimary-kindergarten/kindergarten-k1-admission-arrangements/front.html) in due course. Upon receipt of the applications with all necessary information and documents provided, the EDB will generally take six to eight weeks to complete the processing of the applications and issue the “RC” to applicants who are eligible for receiving subsidy under the Scheme by post.
Suppose a student cannot obtain an “RC” as they can receive education in Hong Kong but is not eligible for receiving subsidy under the Scheme. In that case, the EDB will then issue a “Kindergarten Admission Pass” (hereafter referred to as “AP”) to the student concerned for registration and admission to a Scheme-KG. Still, the parents involved must pay total school fees before the deduction of subsidy under the Scheme, as shown on the Fees Certificate of the KG to which the child is admitted.
